Pol's professionalism

The youngest of the Espargaro brothers has been a protagonist during last weekend in Barcelona especially out the track.

He's been beaten by his friend's Luis Salom episode, indeed he reacted to some comments by the Yamaha Factory team riders.

Actually to criticize and to accuse a committee to encourage a team (Honda in this case) instead of another is not a that great idea, especially if you were not present. Rather it makes the situation more unstable than what it already is.

The reason why Valentino and Jorge decided to don't go there is easy to guess, since they are not in good relationship between each other.

However Pol doesn't accept this baseness for a such important event, because the MotoGP riders are the only responsible to choose how to proceed for everybody, Moto3 and Moto2 riders included.

That day the options were to cancel the GP event or to modify the track.

- The Honda hairpin

The turn n.°10, called 9 from the Yamaha riders, have been discussed since when Marquez crashed because too high speed in 2015 during the race, trying to lean over the gravel. When he had the occasion to explain he said was the only way to avoid the wall due to the short runoff.

This has been enough to convince Pol (and also the other riders) to modify that curve and to pass straight away to the F1 configuration, even if this meant to encourage indirectly Honda.

At the end of the race, Pol remembered his dear friend with a last moving gesture in the point where he passed away.
